The completely updated Ray-Ban Erika range is created in serigraphic velvet using the flocking technique. The frame front made from acetate was dotted with adhesive covered with textile fibres in various stages to obtain a product that is soft to the touch with the maximum adherence between the fibre and the supporting structure. In brilliant and yet soft colours: blue, black, red, and violet . A must have!

The leather Ray-Ban Wayfarer is also a work of great craftsmanship. The frame is covered in suede using a technique called “glove system”. After being soaked in water, the dilated leather is applied to the frame and left to dry, ultimately fitting as snug as a glove. Available in two colours (black and brown leather), combined with polarised lenses.

2140 Denim Way-farer

Layers are the central element of the new Wayfarer Denim. The frames are made from 100% ultra-strong denim that are covered with layers of polypropylene and acetate. The two elements are fused during a stratification process at temperatures approaching 200° to create the perfect adherence. The multi-layered denim Wayfarers are then hand finished. As irresistible as a pair of jeans!
